I wouldn't go as far as saying it's awful, because I still find it a lot of fun and I like all the added features, particularly the Spec Ops mode. However, it isn't as good as its predecessor, mainly because it doesn't feel as fresh gameplay wise. Meanwhile, it is a little cheaper in its difficulty and the online play is not as fun as the original, but still good. Great game, but maybe a little overrated. - Mrveteran

Waay overrated. God, in my fave games ever list, this wouldn't be in the top 100. There are just way more better games that haven't been given enough credit. Jak and daxter, Modnation racers, infamous... Things like this are LOADS better than Call of Duty because they're different. Oh, the new Call of Duty! Oh. Online, same crud. Campaign, same crud. Ideas, old, same crud. Yawn. Will it ever die?

Call of Duty games started really well, then dropped.. and dropped... and now its just recycling the old same trash over and over and over again. I played mw and black ops, both are the SAME but oh wait different guns! Call of Duty way too overrated

if it werent for everyone else playing and unlockables, no one would play it. And people say halo hasnt changed? look at the transition between cod4 to black ops. Same game with different guns

In terms of Call of Duty games, MW2 was one of the greatest. While it may not have the most balanced multiplayer, it still holds up today. Great campaign as well.

I agree, Call of Duty games are starting to lose their luster. MW1, MW2, and MW3 were all great but the Black Ops games were all a 4/10. But why is this game on the list? It's the best one of the series! I give it a 9/10. - Alpha101
