Good plot that keeps you hooked till the very end, an amazing twist making the storyline unpredictable ( something that most of the Pokemon movies have lacked) and the emotional bonding showcased between Zorua and Zoroark makes the audience that much more engaged by the movie..Should be #1 in this list..so much better than Pokemon: The Movie 2000

One of the darkest Pokemon entries yet. I felt so connected to the characters though. I really wish there was more Zoroark Zorua in other films or the animated series. The villain was the best of the series. And the end was emotional. This deserves #1 or top 3 at least

This was the first Pokemon movie I watched, and honestly my favorite. Great characters, great plot, and just generally awesome. The fact this film was the debut of Zorua and Zoroark, one of my favorite evolutionary chains, definitely helped.
