Braveheart is a masterpiece with tremendous heart, a great soundtrack, intense battle scenes, a heartwrenching love story, and is perhaps the most inspirtational movie of all time. William Wallace carries his countryfolk to freedom all due to the love of a woman. In a dream, William doesn't want to fight but wants to stay in the dream with his wife. She tells him to open his eyes, which he does and it strengthens his resolve. His actions inspire his people to take their own action and rise against England with the nobleman Bruce. It will be a huge hurdle for other filmmakers to beat this war movie.

This movie actually fits me quite well. It's about sticking with your principles. Doesn't have to be about current events to relate to current life. It's the message behind the story that is the true motivator. Forget he's standing up for his country. Imagine he's standing up for his family or friends. He's fighting for freedom of everything he believes in. Which we as a human race, as a whole, should all be free to have.

How can you not put this movie in your top 10 inspirational movies list when you have a warrior like William Wallace Defending his country against the much bigger country like England but Wallace was able to give England the fight of there history when the scotts fought for there freedom. - johnspera
