How is the empire strikes back ahead of this? This movie is much better and the empire strikes back wasnt even that good. The prequels are the best and they always will be. Everything about this movie was perfect, from the battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin to Obi-Wan killing Grievous to the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise. How is this not in first? This movie isn't very good if you ask to me. The main problem of the prelogy for me is that there is a lack of character developpment and this is very apparent for star wars episode III especially. In this movie there are a lot of jedi that got killed, and I guess I was supposed to be sad for them, but I don't know any of these people enough for that. Even when Anakin joined the dark side, I was like "okay". And if you tell me that we know more about them in the extended universe, my answer is that the extended universe should be a bonus for the star wars fans, not a correction to the movies. Even though I love all Star Wars movies in a different way, this one has to do it for me. From the nonstop action to the raw emotion this movie brings it just can't be beat. In this movie you could see feel Anakin's struggles as he comes closer closer to becoming Darth Vader. I don't know about everyone else but I didn't seem to have a huge problem with the acting in this movie. The amount of greatness emotion it brings overshadows it anyways. This movie starts with Anakin Obi-Wan being best friends to them being mortal enemies at the end, I feel it did a perfect job of filling in everything in between. For me, this movie should be number one because even though Empire Strikes Back is great, I just feel it gets boring repetitive at times. I also feel that Obi-Wan's words to the burning, fallen Anakin were way more emotional than "I am your father". Overall, this movie to me was perfection set up A New Hope perfectly.

Not only was this the most experienced film George Lucas created... and the best of all the prequel movies. it is the most important of all Star Wars films full stop, as it had the biggest responsibility to connect all saga together and it sure delivered. The universe, lore expansion, music, timeless quotes, action and unparalleled Saber fights to this date. And the Actors quality really was at its peak in this film. This movie will go down in history as one of if not the Greatest Star Wars movie of all time. This was the climax, ending and beginning. The death of the Jedi, the birth of Darth Vader/sidious, the death of the parents and the birth of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Revenge of the Sith is the Timeless Masterpiece.

I grew up with the prequels it was my generation. I never really liked episode 1 and 2 there were alright I guess but I found them boring. But I went to see this one in the cinema and it was everything I wanted. There are so many battles in this and twists and deaths. It's got everything then darth Vader been (born) at the end. I think every Star Wars film has its downs but the only down really in this one is Natalie Portman I just don't like her as pad me she never fit the role. 7. Phantom menace. 6. Clone wars. 5. Ew, incredibly overrated. Just because this movie is the best of prequels, does not mean it's above Return of the Jedi or A New Hope. This movie has horrible acting from Hayden (which is a shame because the other actors aren't as bad, and Hayden's character is the main protagonist.) I should also mention the dialogue is still very cheesy, and there are also many plot holes this movie, like why does Anakin kill all the other Sith? Why does Padme think that killing Younglings ishorrible, but killing family's of Sandpeople is okay. Why did no one ask who's the father of Padme's babies is, as soon as she told them she was pregnant, and most importantly why did no one get suspicious about anyone from the Senate as soon as Dooku said that someone on the Dark Side was controlling the Senate? And why did none of the Jedi stab Palpatine while Palpatine was stabbing their fellow Jedi next to each other!? Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this movie, but I do not like the fact that is above ... more
