Let's be honest; absolutely NO one saw the amount of artistic value that was demonstrated by this show coming. Mock the show for being extremely narcissistic, overrated and pretentious all you want, but absolutely NOTHING else in the entire history of Cartoon Network can even COMPARE to how utterly pure of art this show was and still is to this day.It's basically like what the Best Metroid Games list on this very same website said about Super Metroid; literally EVERY little detail of artistic perfection that this show's creators could have possibly ignored or done wrong (barring actual continuity between episodes, anyway) got absolutely FULL attention paid to it, and dear LORD, did it pay off.The show's art style is downright spectacularly unique even without mentioning how fascinatingly experimental it gets with all of the stylistic mixing that goes on in it, the show's soundtrack is wonderfully orchestrated, the show itself is atmospheric beyond BELIEF, the show's character ... more - xandermartin98
