He technically isn't a true serial killer. Serial killing is the span of 3 or more murders over a length on time. He has only been convicted of killing two people, though this is debatable, since he could've started the fire that killed his brother, but nobody know for sure if he did. But he is pretty far out there when it comes to terms of what he did with the corpses, turning parts of the bodies of dead women into furniture and trying to create a suit so he could be his mother, who he adored dearly. Ed Gein was also one of the first serial killers I studied, so I've always seen him as one of the most gruesome (yet interesting.) - DogmeatAndRex
