The Nintendo YouTuber TheJWittz stated that Super Mario 64 is his favorite game. While I do like the game. He's wrong about one thing. He says it has great replay value. While it is kinda true. I played and 100% Super Mario 64 like over 50 times already. And I'm starting to get bored of it. It was fun when I first played it but over time it became repetitive and boring. I respect JWittz's opinion, and I love him as well. But Super Mario 64 is not the best Mario game. Also every Nintendo youtuber I know loves this system and say it's the best. When in reality, it kinda sucks. The controller is not comfortable, the camera is dreadful, and the graphics didn't age well. Yes it was revolutionary in it's time, but is it the best console around. No.

Most games looked like a a joke compared to what I playing on my PC. GoldenEye, really? Jedi Knight owned GoldenEye. And Shadows of the Empire looked like a urine sample prototype of Jedi Knight. And both the PC and Playstation had Final Fantasy VII. N64 did not. N64 had terrible controllers. Not a good selection of games. Maybe Zelda Ocrina of Time was the best game and even that one is nothing compared to many other games I was playing at the time and I even got bored quick with that one. I think the younger kiddies who had this as their first system all love this one. As a 1st Gen gamer I know better.

The N64 had some of the best Video Games in video game history. Like Super Mario 64, and Legend of Zelda Ocarina Of Time. The controllers WERE kind-of wacky, but this Gaming console deserves being placed #1 of best consoles ever. You may not believe me, but I used to play these things 24/7, having 2 of these consoles in my room. Everyone needs one of these. I personally get insulted when people say that they don't have one of these.

I loved this console, it was SO MUCH better than the PlayStation. The N64 had awesome exclusives, and a controller that came with an analog stick, and a good d pad. The PlayStation has a bunch of bad ports, and most of the PlayStation exclusives weren't exclusives at all. You could get them on Saturn and 3do. Bottom line, N64 is awesome, and the PlayStation should be here

Millieniual kiddies think it's great but the original genx gamers know better. Horrible controls, laughable graphics. A lot of terrible/forgettable games. No games to compare to Final Fantasy VII on the 32-bit Playstation. PC gaming dominated this era. I remember playing Jedi Knight on the PC while laughing at how crappy GoldenEye was. N64 was an abomination!

And at the time the graphics WERE revolutionnary, it's just that some games did not aged well, like Mario Kart 64. I loved the N64, but Nintendo made the stupid move of cartridges. Final Fantasy VII went to PlayStation because cartridges didn't have enough space for it. Now Sony consoles haunt Nintendo home consoles forever.
