Anakin Skywalker is, without a doubt, the most powerful force sensitive in history. Even though he let his arrogance get the better of him on Mustafar, Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi admitted that Anakin had become a far better Jedi than he could have ever hoped to be. He quite easily defeated Count Dooku while Obi Wan lay unconscious and defeated, and he is the Chosen One of the prophecy. As Darth Vader, he was unmatched throughout the entire galaxy, and he is the only one throughout both trilogies to not be instantly helpless when struck with Sidious' force lightning. He was described in Episode 1 to have an even higher midichlorian count than even Yoda. He has had a reputation of being one of the greatest lightsaber duelists in the Jedi Order's history, as well being praised by several Jedi of being capable of what he was able to do at such a young age.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THIS LIST sorry... anyways lets talk about anakin first he blew up a trade confederation ship survived the clone wars killed count dooku and if he wasn't pulled to the dark side would've captured Palpatine now about Darth Vader he killed countless Jedi and Rebels even younglings (R.I.P Younglings) he built a giant small moon/spacecraft/planet destroyer twice destroyed Alaraan with it chopped off Luke's hand and killed emporer Palpatine and Yoda said coming back from the dark side was almost impossible so yeah he deserves to be higher than a tiny green midget (no offense Yoda)

The most powerful force sensitive mortal ever. He forced The Son and The Daughter to their knees and was entrusted by The Father to keep them in check once he died. As much as people love them, Luke, Yoda, Obi-Wan and Sidious could never have done that.

Luke one anakin rwo because Luke succeeded where Anakin failed. Luke turned his father good again and Anakin is redeemed. Force was strongest in the skywalker bloodline. If you observe before he turned Darkside Anakin was the better Jedi. Saved Obi Wan's life numerous times twice against Count Dooku killing jim in episode three while Obi Wan was unconscious. Anakin is actually weaker when he thinks he's more powerful turning to the Darkside. Kinda a catch 22.

Not only did he assist in the deaths of Mace Windu and Darth Sidious, two of the strongest force-users ever, but he also wipes out the Trade Federation and most of the Jedi Purge survivors. This guy is badass. At 9 (I think) he singlehandedly destroys a Lucrehulk-Class Control Ship, winning the Battle Of Naboo! He's supposedly the son of the Force! Come on, he has to be #1.

Anakin was the most powerful Jedi of his time. The only reason obiwan beat him was because of the terrain and the fact that anakin was triggered. He was super powerful as a sith as well and I think the only reason Luke won in rotj is because Vader was holding back and was conflicted.

He kept the Son and Daughter in check. They literally represent the dark and light side of the Force. He is the Chosen One. As much as people think that Sidious, Luke, or Revan is better, Anakin will always be the Chosen One.
