They're not overrated. I mean yes in the way that they didn't create hard rock or heavy metal and people give them a lot of praise for that. But also no because they are a top 5 best bands of all time. Not the best though. To the guy below me me, there is an actual list of all the songs they "stole". It's a lot by the way and I agree Stairway isn't one of them.

Actually, Led Zeppelin stole a minority of their songs. Their best ones are either falsely accused of being copied, or their own works. Stairway to Heaven and Heartbreaker come to mind. The band was a great band and is not overrated because they had such a monumental impact on music now.
